2. What is the difference between the Linksys WRT1200AC v1 and Linksys WRT1200AC v2?

There is no difference in features and specifications.  The Linksys WRT1200AC v2 is the same as Linksys WRT1200AC v1, only they use different firmware versions.  Also, you cannot use the firmware for Linksys WRT1200AC v2 with Linksys WRT1200AC v1 or vice versa.

3. What are the parts of the Linksys WRT1200AC?

9. What is the Combo USB 2.0 / eSATA port for and how does it work?

The Combo USB 2.0 / eSATA port on the Linksys WRT1200AC allows you to connect a USB 2.0 device or eSATA (External Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) drive to the network.

NOTE:  You can also connect a USB 3.0 drive to it but the speed limitation will be based on USB 2.0.  Connecting a USB printer is also possible.  However, you can only connect one (1) device at a time.
